Favorable seasonal conditions in northern Tasmania have expressed have helped growers set up bumper crops harvest in Tasmania's north as the industry enters it's peak production period. Growers in southern Tasmania have experienced a more challenging season, but are optimistic of increasing sales across the state.
FGT has provided a low cost fruit testing service to help growers meet the needs of QA programs since 2003. The FGT service uses independent NATA-accredited laboratories to detect and quantify chemical, heavy metal and microbiological contaminants within fruit.
