Fruit Growers Tasmania | Thursday, 10 May 2018, 9.00am

The Department of State Growth is pleased to offer Tasmanian businesses the opportunity to attend free seminars to help producers understand the Tasmanian Freight Equalisation Scheme.

If you are shipping goods between Tasmania and the mainland; or King Island and the main island of Tasmania; or
the Furneaux Group and the main island of Tasmania, you may be eligible to use the scheme to help reduce your
transport costs.

Each seminar will cover:

•How the scheme works
•What goods are eligible for assistance under the Scheme
•How much assistance can be claimed
•How to make a claim
•When to make a claim.

The seminar series is being delivered in partnership with the federal Department of Infrastructure, Regional Development and Cities and the Department of Human Services.
