2023 Conference
Fruit Growers Tasmania held its annual conference in June 2023.
The annual Fruit Growers Tasmania 2023 Conference was held on 15 - 16 June at the Country Club Tasmania in Launceston.

The annual conference is a key event for the horticultural calendar in southern Australia, and brought together some 180 growers and other participants. This event provided a great networking opportunity for growers, customers, suppliers and service providers, and helped to elevate supplier profiles and support for the industry through sponsorship of the event.
Growers were encouraged to bring a young grower to conference
Tasmania’s fruit producers were asked to bring their young growers from within their businesses to this year’s industry conference to support them grow their knowledge and linkages within the industry.
Supporting and retaining young growers within the industry has been identified as a growing priority within the industry as the size and value of fruit production continues to grow within the state.
To help businesses involve more young growers in the conference, Fruit Growers Tasmania offered member businesses discounted ticket costs for any young growers they brought to this year’s conference, including conference sessions, networking session, as well as the conference’s Gala dinner event.
